Day in Day out....Oh my, its Thursday, December 08, 2005 already

I smell fresh air

How long is long on the virtual world. Is the time same as the real world?

It has been eight days since I blogged. Reading other blogs, generally 2 days without blogging is CONSIDERED a century. I guess BLOGGING should not have any 'time frame' attached to it. Furthermore, blogging is a personal activity; it is just that we share our thoughts with the virtual world.

Some like Mr Brown and Miyagi and of course, Xiaxue, they are the bloggers' world celebrity. Maybe they have the onus to update their blog. Not only mean updating, like ranting about their daily stuff, they have to make it interesting. Hmm, there is really a tough job.

I like to blog. This is something really interesting. I like to play around with the pictures, to write my thoughts, create stuff.......simply.....its a domain for me to unleash my thoughts.

Speaking of which, today's blog would be on the new stuff I would to embark on.

1. LEARN GUITAR

2. GET moi License to kill........Car License

3. Prepare myself for a MAN THING......IPPT...must retain my GOLD

4. GO for KAYAK Level Two

5. ComPlete my Mountaineering Level Two

6. Take the japanese level one test

These sounds like a new year resolution thingy. BUT, rest assure, New Year Resolutions are for people to feel better about themselves, they rarely will get fulfiled. These are the THINGS I MUST DO.......haa.......MUST MUST MUST MUST

Another topic for us to ponder on. IS THE TELEVISION SCENE IN SINGAPORE ROTTING?

Remember the times when we were still young and had our eyes glued to the television, waiting to catch Zoe and Nanxing in action. There were other artistists like Fann, Tiancai, Chuming..........and my FAVE SHAOGUANG.

Was talking to Derrick about our favourite shows like Zai Jian Yin Guang Lan, Fann and Tiancai's show, which was about fireflies, a homing pigeon, Orchids, AUSTRALIA........NOW? Hmm, hardly can we name really fantastic shows. Maybe the best one in recent memory was Holland Village. I gave up on our local TV.

Globalisation has something to do with it. I fed myself with Hong Kong TVB shows and of course the various genre of American TV, such that I found myself overly critical of the local stuff. Comparing 'Lost' or 'West Wing' to 'Lifeline' (if anyone knows or vaguely recall what Lifeline is, it is a local english drama featuring Gurmit Singh and Xie Yunyi), the disparity is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO great that I reel in pain whenever I saw the advertisement for local dramas.

Sitcoms-wise, Nothing can beat 'Malcom in the Middle' or for that matter, 'Golden Girls', 'The Nanny' or even 'Bewitched'. Hmmmm, PCK?

There is REALLY one condemned show I would like to feature today.

舞出彩虹

This MUST be the TOPPEST HORRENDOUS SHOW ever.

The acting is BAD......I mean they are not even trying to act.

The script is good but badly developed.

The lines are corny and weak.

The interaction within the pretenders (actors/actress is too nice a term for them) are flimsy.

The production is horrible. Mediacorp should put that producer to death.

Michelle (the yester-year babe from Hong Kong) have absolutely no where to show off her acting skills. Anywhere, in the midst of all these pretenders, she has no need to act.

Seriously, if Mediacorp thinks that they can get away from it, I can tell them they are heading to another low valley. Hubris hubris hubris......when will they ever learn?

On an unrelated note..............
有一个很新的船,它什么都有,就只有一个东西它没有。请问是什么东西?

电视机。。。因为新传媒电视 (新船没电视)

Hey its not lame ok.....there is a hidden joke.....imagine Mediacorp without television.......
