As True as Love can Be (Chapter Seven)

She was back at the Forgotten. For many days she felt a sense of foreboding guilt. Snanous served her, “Destiny, here’s your Fiery.” She smiled. Snanous remembered Destiny, the lady of craft and wisdom.

Destiny looked up. “Snanous, you remembered me?

Snanous’ eyes shied away. “My memories. They are coming and going.” She blinked her eyes, “Lady, have you ordered?”

Destiny answered, “It’s alright. I’ve ordered. I thought he’s back.”

She drank from her glass. Fiery was hot. The liquid ran deep into her body igniting a burning sensation. She kept emptying her glass and refilling it once more. “Lady you have drunk enough.” A deep voice roused her. “Be sober for you have to face your mess yourself.”

Destiny was drunk. Her world was changing rapidly, from the winter raging snow storm to the torrents of flash floods drowning a local settlement. She wanted to flush her guilt out. She wanted not to be Destiny. She wanted to forget. And be forgotten. But at this moment, the voice brought forth a glimmer of hope for her, a lever to lighten her load and ease her guilt. Destiny raised her despaired head up. Her sullen face brightened up. “Brother, you are finally back.”

It was the man in grey suit. He pulled out the chair and sat on it. “Feeling troubled? Feeling guilty? I guess your conscience still lives in you. I guess for a moment you have forgotten your identity. Sometimes I do remember of our ties even though I am far away.”

“Brother, you’ve got to help me. To untie a knot. To undo a fate. Only you can undo it. Please.”

I’ve already done it. To re-write the life of that lady and the gentlemen. To do justice to their unjust. Fate is hiding from me and I have no wish to see him.”

Destiny’s heart lightened. “Brother, will you bring me back to the City of Light? Please.”

“It cannot be done. You are contaminated. You are the forgotten. Your purpose served your existence. And obviously you still have a purpose here. I came here to tell you that a dark storm is brewing. Fate is brewing something. I wish not to know of his plan, yet I already know, for I am Life, the flow, the happening and the path. I wish you will continue to do my duties here. I have longings and love for this place, yet, the Creator has abandoned this place. I cannot stay. I can only wish for your help to continue to guide these mortals. I no longer trust Fate. If possible wake your little sister up. Providence has slept for too long. Wake her up before Fate does. I must go now. Remember a larger story is yet to be written. This is only the prelude to it all.” Life disintegrated into the air. The atmosphere was cold again.

“Where is Life? I smelt him and I came over as quickly as I could.” A grim voice sounded. A child appeared. “Destiny, he was here wasn’t he?”

Destiny nodded her head.

“He is a coward. He still owe me a bet.” The child grimly mumbled to himself.

Destiny looked at the child, “He was here. I will make the bet on his behalf from now on.”

Chapter Seven: I will never dream again

In her little world, Sahx attempted to dismantle it all. She pushed all her characters, the Korean hunks, the Taiwanese boyish lead, the Japanese cool guys into a pit. She shoveled mud and soil over them. “Go to hell! I will never see you all ever again.”

With her imagination, she crushed the sun, she smashed the moon and she stained the beaches with the blood of her heart. She destroyed all the different sets, the snowy mountain-side, the topical cottage, the vineyard, the restaurant by the sea and the hospital where she died and lived so many times.

She realized her body was moving in a jerky manner. She could not see what really happened. She tried to open her eyes. A blurry image greeted her, the dark sky with three pathetic stars, and a daft of a lazy cloud. She could see someone’s face panting away furiously few centimeters away from her. She had seen him before.

She also realized that he was carrying her and running.

She heard him shouting, “Someone’s fainted. Give me the path.”

Fainted? She remembered. She was rejected by Cedric, indirectly though. She saw a man in grey and the next time she remembered was the destruction of her little world.

She regained full conscious, yet she stayed still. There was something magical about this moment, just like a hero carrying away a princess in distress. She like it.

Life is a wonder. Life brings forth wondrous and magical stuff. Life is itself a miracle. True Love appeared for Sahx. She knew it. Brian knew it too, since the day at the restaurant.

Cannosa felt happy. He thought Destiny had fixed it. His love for Destiny rekindled. Yes, Cannosa liked Destiny the first time he saw her. But he knew he was not Destiny’s True Love. It was some guy by the name of Sang Nila Utama. Cannosa saw him a couple of years back.

Sang Nila Utama, the Sumatran Prince from the legends, did not die. For Death promised Destiny never to take him, in exchange for Destiny’s promise. He was banished and forever roamed the earth alone, never to meet Destiny.

Destiny renewed her strength and set forth on a quest to given by her eldest brother Life. Life never lies. If indeed a dark storm is brewing, she is prepared to meet it. Even if she had to bring Fate down.

Fate was in the midst of hatching a plan. A plan so grand, he shared with no-one. He needed Allies and more power. He has already started his plan.

END (or so you think)

(Disclaimer: This is purely a work of fiction. Any resemblance to anyone or anything dead or alive is really a freak coincidence.
I really thank those who like my story and who have read it. It is not perfect. I am no writer, certainly if so, I will not be in accountancy. I hope this story can bring what I wanted to present. True Love versus Fabricated Love, or loving for the sake of loving. Sometimes I wonder what it is meant to fall in love. Why couples fall in and out of love. Why couples can be so happy one moment and be so distance the next moment. This is my thoughts and it is echoed in this story. I also thank a friend of mine, who told me to go back to writing my normal daily blogs. I think you may not enjoy my story, but, nevertheless, the story has come to an end.

Through this story, I have come up with a bigger story. A whole new landscape for me to play around with. To spin the tales of the Forgotten ones. A new story that speaks of the triangle love between Destiny, Sang Nila Utama and Cannosa. It also speaks of the greater and darker story of the PLAN of Fate. Along with it, there will be more characters, eg Providence. Why is she asleep? What is the difference between Life, Providence, Destiny and Fate? What is the story of Snanous, the Lady of Bygone Memories? What is the Experiment and why it failed?

A whole new universe, a whole new tale, but it will not be on my blog. There is a certain responsibility for me to keep posting because I know it will be tasteless if there was a time gap between any posts. And a friend of mine told me to write my daily blogs. I guess all this universe and story will be in my laptop. I really had fun with this story.)
