Day in Day out....Oh my, its Saturday, November 19, 2005 already

How a free bird spend his days

It was a really fabulous feeling being free.

Free from worrying whether have I finished my readings or not, free from worrying have I finished my report, free from worrying whether the projects are done or not.........

Basically I am free....at least for one month.

I slacked the whole day. Watched television, played computer games, watched the clouds go by, slept still on the bed wondering how long can I stay in that position, read my Anansi Boys (its not a gay book), stared hard at my ceiling and EAT (my cherry garcia!).

Being bored, I needed to get out of my house. Hence had a day out with the ex-b-day boy. I was worried that the curse will linger. Nevertheless, I proceeded with much caution.

Went over Sakae at Wheelock. The Marina Square and Funan Sakae officially has dropped out of my Sushi Hangout list. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!! (unless of course you are bloody tired and bloody hungry and bloody in need of some bad service and bad food)

Of course, there is a trade off.

The economic world is always in quantum equlibrium.

If you tell the Sakae managers that you are coming for ala-carte (or however you spelt it), there will be immediate bright sparkles from their teeth (due to the overly stretched fake smile) and from their cash-thirst eyes. They will welcome you, kowtowing from the main entrance to your seat. You have them at your disposal. Niak niak niak niak...........

BUT

If you happened to ask for "Sakae buffet, the student one"......Woooooo.....These pathetic managers will suddenly ignore you, abeit you waiting so long at the entrance. They will deliberate until a few minutes to 3pm (the commencing time for the afternoon buffet) or 6.30pm (the commencing thime for the dinner buffet). They can horrendously nice by letting you in 10 mins earlier or they can be horrendously evil by letting you in ON TIME. Either way, they are horrendous. They split their words at us, as if we are some pests, begging to eating their sushi. They see us not as customers but as little bugs, pathetic bugs that can only afford cheap buffets.

What the heavens!

I shall never never forget the smug on their faces.

May one day I shall rule over the Sakae empire!

Then again, perharps I will open new sushi stores to rival it. Bringing it down and crashing the MANAGERS LIKE COCHROACHES!

With after the meal, me and the ex-b-day Boy went over to Lido to catch Harry Potter.

It was an alright show. 6 broomsticks out of 10. The actings were much refined compared to previous HPs. The CGs and graphics were disappointing, there wasn't any break through. The show did not adhere to the story completely. Voldemort was too cute to be EVIL. Harry, Ron and Hermonie were growing too big. Not enough exploration and development of the characters. The director and the script-writer apparently ONLY want to tell the story, NOT to PRESENT the STORY. DISAPPOINTING. The story was JERKY. The flow was too ABRUPT. Simply put, the MOVIE TOOK OUT WHAT WAS THE VERY ENCHANTING MOMENTS AND EXPERIENCE FROM THE ACTUAL BOOK!

19th Nov

Was going to Sexpo at Expo.

Plan was cancelled due to lack of people. Only three little children were going.

These three little children went to town...........for a shopping spree...at least for two of them.

Crumpler Madness.........

Kino Siao..........

Enough said.
