History......just another story

Was telling Maozhi about my new plan to produce a NEW SERIES.

Crazy ideas swamping inside me now. But I doubt I have the determination to carry it forth. THE NEW SERIES will be known as 《大神筋》。

Many aunties know that 《大长斤》 was based on a true-story. But "true-story"? How true is true, especially if time had already grain truth to mere sparkle of belief. None of us alive today actually witness the whole event. Who was Changjin? Who actually was she?

The show protrayed her beautifully. Of proise, of talents, of grace, of intelligence........flawless.

What she went through was heroic, simply extraordinary. Not something anyone of her time could have done so. The vengance was sweet. Yet, history had left something for her enemies....a bad name. Cui Chengqing or the BIG BAD LADY was Changjin number one nemesis. In order to perserve the weath, power and honour of her Cui-clan, she had to do a LOT OF FUNNY STUFF, like killing, accusing, laughing to herself, talking to herself and perpetual staring at the floor instead of looking at others when talking.

This show is very typical. It is good no doubt, especially the preparation of food part. The intricacy in every chops, the delicate decorations and the numerous mouth-watering food. This is a production with HEART, with DELICATION, with a TRUE PROMISE TO VIEWERS (something so simple, yet deliberately left out in Singapore).

As I was watching the show, I cannot but develop a deep-rooted suspicion on Changjin. Her every moves, her mannerism and HER EYES. She looked so delicate, so soft, YET, there is SOMETHING DEEPER WITHIN HER. SOMETHING NOT SHOWN TO THE VIEWERS.

Generally, people would want to see a typical heroic show. Where the hero is GOOD. But I have decided to scipt a new show. A new show to shed light on Changjin. But due to the anticipated law-suits and infringement cases, I have decided to call the female lead Shenjin.

SHE PLOTTED ALL HER WAY.

SHE PLANNED IT ALL.

SHE HAD IT ALL WITHIN HER.

Other saw her as a pitable lady. Yet she knows better.

Other saw her as a delicate and dedicate Palace Lady. Yet she knows better.

Everything, every person and every events she came across were all intricately planned. Min Zhenghao was only a pawn. The rest of her "friends" are her tools.

Would the so-call plague situation, which was actually due food-poisoning, be actually salvaged by her?

Would the various complicated medical issues be solved and treated by her?

Therefore would it be easier to poison the people and then treat them. It would be, wouldn't it.

The real sad character would be the poor Cui Chengqing. She had no intention to harm anyone. She just wanted to protect what was being given to her. That's all, to save the last what the Cui-clan has left. That's all.

This new series will promise complicated relationships, controversies, anger, vengeance and of course, powerful actings. The english title to 《大神筋》 will be "Pity for Lady Vengeance".......sounds familar......???
