Day in Day out....Oh my, its Sunday, January 01, 2006 already

First Post of 2006

A new second ashers in the new year. Bring forth the glad tidings from all corners of the world!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

There will be expectations and hopes for 2006.

There will be invigorated dreams for 2006.

There will be new stuff to do in 2006.

2005 has gone and pass. A lot of things are now history. Good and Bad. Nevertheless we live on to continue the vision, aspiration and desire of the people before us.

Some of my pals asked me to update my blog especially for the last half a month. It is as if my blog has froze in a time whirlhole. Nope, there are just a lot of things to do and I am just plain lazy to upload all the photos.

I have relatively no desire to have New Year's resolution. Cannot keep and achieve it.

But for superficiality sake,

1. Do well for my course (well enough to get me employed)
2. Stay safe (the world is rotten but I still love to enjoy every moment of it)
3. Learn new skills (relevant ones not like "how to bitch without others knowing", " staying awake under extreme boredom")
4. Stay clear of IRRITATING PEOPLE's PATH (surely the world is rotten enough for me to bear, no need to add unnecessary pissifying stress)
5. Other stuff that I have not thought of.

Didn't really made any concrete plans for this New Year's Eve. A bit drained from the overnite celebrations last Christmas. Just came back from a countdown cum fireworks fest.

Met Derrick and Yiting. Ate at Takashimaya's Ajisen Ramen. Where are the crowds?

Chilled out and Bitched out at Starbucks at Plaza Singapura. Ordered the drink for the day, Toffe Nut Latte and Vernonda Tiramisu. And the Happy Tree Friends started to relish in gossips and bitchings. Mr Bad Karma looked upon us and laughed sinisterly. Felt really great to be able to talk about almost EVERYTHING with Derrick and Yiting.

2230 Hrs
Walked to Cityhall area. Passed by SMU. We were captivated by the ultra-modernistic look and a cool-factor radiating from the walls of SMU. "Even their SECURITY GUARDS look more alert" commented by Yiting and Derrick.

Reached Giant in Marina Square. Bought drinks and the QUEUE was extreme. And we headed to Fullerton Hotel area.

There are a real deal of people out there. The atmosphere was really cool. It was bustling with people. All with a SINGLE HOPE of seeing the Fireworks later at the stroke of MiD-NiGHt.

I was in front, leading and OPENING the way. Derrick held onto my bag strap. Yiting held onto Derrick's bag strap. And we found another use for bag straps: Anti-Lost Grapper.

The atmosphere was thick with excitement and anticipition. All eagerly looking up into the sky to try to scout for any sign of fireworks.

We found a place on the bridge. The Fullerton Hotel was right in front of us. We drank the water. I video-cam our hopes for 2006.

FIRST BLOOPER FOR THE YEAR.

OUR VIEW OF THE FIREWORKS WAS UNGRAIOUSLY BLOCKED BY FULLERTON HOTEL.

We ran all the way to catch a glimpse of the fireworks. It was fortune that the fireworks lasted for some time. It was a neat way to start the year. But still I was glad that I was with my best friends.

The fireworks herald in a new year. The booming noises chased the old sins and burdens away. While the lights from the fireworks danced to a new tune in our life. I felt renewed.

Reached home and took the first bath of the year and the first shit of the year.

Listening to the first song of the year, 痴心绝对.

Singnet web-page was the first webpage I saw for the year.

Straits Times was the first read of the year.

Plain Water was the first drink of the year.

Green chorophyll supplements are the first food of the year.

Soon I will go to the first dreamland of the year.
