In Phuket
Right now I am blogging at an Internet Cafe, while my family are busy letting their feet relentlessly tortured and a few of them went over to pig out at Hagen Daz.The environment here is not bad, with the cool air-conditioning shielding me from the torturous sun. Phuket is a place totally devoted to the tourists, while maintaining their local identity and culture. I finally understand what is the meaning of the Land of a Thousand Smile (beat that "4 million smiles campaign".) They are sincere and will go all out to help you.
Our WHOLE family (= My family {Dad, Mami, Brother and Me) + Aunt's family {Gu Zhang, Gugu, Nicholas and Nicole} + Jiehui + Grandfather) reached Phuket on Saturday morning, around 10 something. Then we checked into Blue Canyon resort. Followed by a trip to the various parts of Phuket, like a little town and then to the famous Patong beach. It was REALLY a tiring day....who says vacation is relaxing?
The next day, we were on-board a private yacht. It was reinvigorating to my senses. The yacht was exactly the same as those I saw on Hong Kong TV serials. Those rich tai zi ye owns and they bring their babes on-board. It was simply luxurious.
The third day, aka today, was a slow one. The whole family slacked at the house until pretty late, near to early afternoon, when we head out to Patong Beach once more for their massages and later go shopping.
