Day in Day out....Oh my, its Monday, December 18, 2006 already

Army Daze

The annual In-camp is upon me. It was five day event starting from 11/12/2006. The feeling of reporting back to my battalion was not a good one. It was a forceful yank from my normal life back to a life where of utter despair. From the plains of the Elysium, I was dragged to the flames of Tartarus. The torment was great. The pain was numbing. The days dragged and the night fled quickly. Yes, it was something that even the SAF forbade us to speak about.

There were many things that happened. Stupid armskote issues with that CBJ refusing to lift his dainty fingers, drenched in the rain for two days, sleep-starve soldiers, irritating people and basically the army stuff once more. Well, for the good record, the five days made me cleansed from the tainted world of wanton enjoyment and senseless gorging of food. There were good camaradice between my 84mm section. A lot of catching up and gossips. Met a new friend, Baldwin. He is really nice but too bad he is only attached to our battalion for this round.

HAI~~~the next in-camp is scheduled on the 9th of July next year. Help me..................
