A friend of Mine

This blog is dedicated to a Friend of Mine (FOM)

It is really hard to talk about him without talking about what is friendship.

The MAIN reason is that he has lost all trust in friendship. He had been through many bad experiences and he is simply tired. Plain tired. Analogyly, its like gambling in casino, you keep forking out A LOT OF MONEY to buy "small", but everything it opens "big". That kind of heartache, really hard to bear.

He was always on the defensive. Never allowing anyone near to his inner world. Even his alias is SO secluded from anyone.

To try to take a peek into his world is even harder than to memorise the whole of the Financial Reporting Standard (Singapore, 2005).

To try to really understand him is even tougher to regurgitate the whole of the Income Tax Act.

Simply put, he is a deep man to fathom.

Yet, to want to know him and understand him requires one simple thing. Trust. Not yours in him, but his in you.

For me, it is really hard. To endure his temper. To know when he is in pissified mode. But, its fun.

To me, there are two of him.

Darker him and the normal him.

Stay away from him when his darker twin appears. You simply want to slap him, kick him, butt him, wringle his neck......but ITS NO USE. NEVER TRY TO HEAD ON WITH HIS DARKER SIDE.

I prefer his normal side. Someone to crap with, to have fun with, to share your thoughts with, to gossip with.......

Nevertheless, acceptance is what made me "apparently" his friend. {Do you know that there are "levels" to achieve in his friendship progression}

But I must admire him for enduring my NUTINESS, CRAZINESS, BO-LIAONESS and CRAPPINESS.

But seriously, I found a true friend in him. A life-long friend. And certainly one who will not get to seat and enjoy his meal properly on my wedding day.
