Dangerous
I think the current examination system will breed a new group of weird and crazy people. I guess a lot of us cram one semester worth of stuff into a few days. Praying that a miracle will occur that we may suddenly understand it all.
A miracle has indeed surfaced.
It is the creation of this bunch of weird, nutty and scary people. Many camped out in the campus' seminar rooms. The Canteens even turned into instance Refuge Camps. The faint lights and several flickering lap-top screens failed to lighten the mood.
What is the purpose of Learning then? What is the purpose of Going for Seminar or Lecture classes? What is the purpose of this whole thing?
Between reality and idealism, I guess the system has chosen the former. Who cares about you? The school has thousands of students to take care of, year after year. It is merely going through the motion. Register for subjects, 14 weeks of lesson, Project Presentation, Class "interaction", Register for Calculators, Examination Venue and Seating Number, Examination, Marking (hmmmm), Check Results. Next batch, please.
Talking about the Marking of the Examination Scripts. How much faith do anyone have on these activity? Marking? Grading? Hmmm, I need to request an Assurance on this activity. Must engage one of the Big 4 to provide their opinion on the validity of the whole Marking thingy.
I can rant and rave about the system. Yet, I am just a victim of this merciless clockwork of bureacracy. Can my opionion change this clockwork? I guess it will be easier to ask George Bush to recall all the US troops in Iraq.
